Hailing from the LA suburb of El Cerrito, Channel 3 was a pioneering member of the Southern California hardcore scene - a scene made up largely of disillusioned teens who found that music was their only viable alternative to hanging out in front of the local mini-mart. On the wave of the overnight popularity of their first full length album, 1982's Fear Of Life (released in the UK as I've Got A Gun), came After The Lights Go Out (1983), further solidifying their unique sound and making its indelible mark on HC history.
