Though only active for a couple of years, Executioner helped pioneerthe early 80s hardcore crossover sound in West Coast punk. The younggroup floored audiences, sharing the stage with Social Distortion, BadBrains, Crucifix, Fang, and more. They disbanded in 1983, and sadlythe only official release was a handful of demo tracks on the GrowingPains skate cassette. Now, for the first time, this disc presents all ofExecutioner s 1982 83 recordings, brilliantly remastered, as well as are-recorded track and a new rager from 2008!
This 'Anthology' CD features the band's entire 1982 recorded output. Comes in a foldout Crass Records-styled sleeve with a full poster and extensive liner notes that provide an inside look at what was going on at the time in the 1982 San Jose hardcore scene.

'Growing Pains' 1983 cassette. Track 5 & 18 recorded live On Broadway 6/27/83. Track 20 recorded live at the Fillmore House 11/23/82. Tracks 3 & 8 recorded in 2008 in Salem.
