STUDIO ALBUM #10 for UK underground rockers NEW MODEL ARMY comes hard on the heels of 2005's North American comeback release "CARNIVAL". That release saw the band re-establish their retail and touring credentials--3 nationwide tours in 22 months took them to all corners of the nations. Still operating from without the mainstream, as time moves on it seems that the line between 'mainstream' and 'independent' becomes more blurred. While major labels search their indie roots for inspiration and support, the true Independents find strength in growing numbers and the support of a burgeoning underground, viral media network that can neither be bought nor controlled. It is an exciting time to be releasing albums and with live music again coming to the fore as a crucial marketing tool, it is the acts that can deliver night after night whose flame burns longest and brightest. The new album, High, is once again produced by the bands own label and distributed through like minded partners at Redeye, creating a platform from which the band can continue to inspire, delight and enthrall.
