"The Supremes Sing Rodgers & Hart" was originally conceived to be a double album, but it was halved before Motown issued it in 1967. Motown released an expanded CD "The Rodgers & Hart Collection" in 1987 with several more songs included with the original twelve LP tracks. "The Supremes Sing Rodgers & Hart: The Complete Recordings" was released in 2002 that included all of the songs originally intended for the double LP, including a bonus live 'medley' recorded at the Copacabana, NYC. May 19, 1967.
This project would be the last time the trio would receive group credit, after this their recordings were released as Diana Ross & The Supremes, these also turned out to be the final studio recordings made by the original lineup. Florence Ballard (Flo) would be replaced by Cindy Birdsong.
